Been awhile

I have not posted awhile, so if you were wondering where I have been and what I have been doing. I am going to tell you. I have been working alot and praying and also have just forgot about this blog. The few things that are on my mind is the election of course. We are not two weeks away from super tuesday when 22 states will hold primaries for dem and republicans. I really like Huckabee but I am not sure how he is going to win without a mighty move of God. He seems like a really nice guy, but he needs to start winning some states. The other front runners do no really appeal to me very much because the lean more liberal on abortion and other social issues.

My family is growing. My wife and I are expecting our 3 child in July and we are very excited about that. His name is a secret until he is born. My little boy Kiah is walking now and able to join the 1 year old class. Dessa just talks up a storm now and you can actually understand what she says. Sarah stays at home most days and watches the kids. She is amazing with the kids. When we first got married she said that she could not be a stay at home mom but now she loves being with the kids. Hadessah and Kiah have grown so much since she has been at home with them.

That is about all I have at this time. I will try to update more often. Thanks for your loyal readership or something.

Lovers of Pleasure rather than a lover of God

1 But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come: 2 For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, 3 unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good, 4 traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, 5 having a form of godliness but denying its power. And from such people turn away! 6 For of this sort are those who creep into households and make captives of gullible women loaded down with sins, led away by various lusts, 7 always learning and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth. II Tim. 3 1-7

This verse describes America and its current citizens. We first off are lovers of ourselves. We love ourselves and are really only looking out for ourselves. We love to do whatever is best for us and are not walking out godly lives where we prefer one another. The next one is lovers of money. We are taught that money makes the world go around, but I have a little surprise for of those who believe that: God makes the world go around and if He so chose to, He could destroy it and would not be wrong for doing so. We are also proud and boastful when we think we can do things apart from God, when the word clearly says that we can do nothing apart from God. We rely on our own might and think we are so wise but we are just foolish and need a reality check. God in his kindness and long suffering is patience with us to lead us to him. The biggest problem we face as a nation is being lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God. We would rather seek after thing that please the flesh then seek after One who can give us abundant riches in this age and in the age to come. We have a form of godliness but we deny its power by pursuing lust of the flesh.

The byproduct of this is the current ills of our country, abortion, homosexuality, teen pregnancy, pornography and other sexual sins. Paul said this would happen when we so seeds into the flesh that we would reap destruction because the flesh profits nothing. Paul also told us to flee from youthful lust but pursue righteousness, faith, love, peace with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart.

The following video is very graphic but I think it is important to remove the distortion from abortion issue. I think every young lady thinking about having an abortion should see what abortion truly is.

Abortion and Planned Parenthood

I do not know if a lot of people know this but a planned parenthood facilty in Kansas has been found to be in violation of over 100 counts of breaking state law. Now this is the thing with the abortion industry if they were regulated the way a medical clinic is regulated then most of them would be shut down. I was listening to the radio today and found out that more than getting in justices which we need also we need to find attroney generals in states that are willing to go after abortionist who brake the law. In the state of Kansas it is illegal for an abortionist to do a late term abortion unless it is for the life of a mother. This type of case for the mother well being is very rare, but that does not stop planned parenthood from performing abortion on the mother. Another starling fact of this case is that this is only one batch of 29 case files, and they are looking into previous years form 2004-07.

Another case is in MA where a young lady went into a clinic to get an abortion and did not come out alive. If you want to know more about this I will put a link up and you can read the story. Warning reading the following story will break your heart. http://ncregister.com/site/article/6336/

3 years of wedded bliss

I have married to the most wonderful woman in the world. We have been married 3 years and 1 day today. I just want to tell those who do not know her a little about her. Sarah is her name. She loves Jesus and loves me. She is so wonderful, I just feel sorry the many people who do not know or are not going to ever get to meet her. She lets her light shine before men (matt 5:16) unlike anybody I know. She all about glorifying Jesus and walking out the sermon on the mount lifestyle, but the great thing about her is that she would never tell you that or tell you how great she is or the wonderful things she does, but she does them in the quiet place where only the Father sees. I only wish that I could walk out the journey to knowing Jesus more like she does. People might notice me and say I have a spirit of prayer but I would not even be close to where I am at in the Lord if Sarah had not entered my life. I just want to spend the rest of my life just how much she means to me. Sarah I love you and thank you for 3 great years in the journey to loving Jesus more and hope for many more years with you to come. I know I will be serving you in the age to come. I love you.

So Heavenly Minded No Earthly Good

“No heavenly minded no earthly good” to me makes no sense and is not biblical. Paul and the other Apostles never wrote about ever being too heavenly minded but instead wrote on being seated with Christ in heavenly places(eph1:3). I just think that it is important to know the heart beat of the Father and the Son, other wise I do things out of my own wisdom and I will fail. I just want to finish by saying that a man who has a heavenly mindset is one is most effective preacher of the gospel.

Life without the Prayer Room

I am having at tough time without the prayer room. I do not really like my job and would rather be in the prayer room and ministering. I wake up everyday and drive right pass the prayer room, but do not enter. As each day goes by my heart longs even more. When we moved here I thought that 4 hours was a long time to spend in the prayer room, but now I long to spend everyday in the prayer room.

My greatest hope is that I can find a job that as regular hours and that I can enjoy and that I will work on support raising and be able to return to prayer room full time. I will rejoice in the Lord always again I say rejoice, again I say I will rejoice in the Lord.
